Three injured Two Vehicle Crash

Ripley County: Yesterday afternoon a two vehicle crash sent three to the hospital. According to Trooper Jamey Sperle, at approximately 4:18 p.m. a 2004 Dodge Stratus driven by 17 year old Jordan Grimes of West Harrison was westbound on S.R. 46 waiting to turn left to go south on Spades Road when a 2004 Honda Civic driven by 27 year old Vanessa Gorth of Batesville was also westbound on S.R. 46 and didn’t slow down in time and struck the Dodge Stratus in the rearend. Gorth suffered a laceration to her forehead and Grimes complained of pain to his head. Also injured in the crash was 50 year old Otto Grimes who complained of neck and back pain. All were transported to Margaret Mary Hospital in Batesville where they were treated and released. The crash remains under investigation.
