Police Investigating Thursday Morning Shooting in Parkway East Apartments
Jackson police are investigating a Thursday morning shooting in Parkway East Apartments that sent one man to the hospital.
At approximately 9:42 a.m. Thursday, officers were called about a shooting in Parkway East Apartments at 33 Carver Avenue. A 30-year-old Jackson man was transported by ambulance to Jackson-Madison County General Hospital for a gunshot wound.
Investigators talked to the man in an attempt to gather more information about the shooting. The man did not provide any useful information to aid in the investigation.
Police do not have a suspect description to release at this time.
The man was admitted into the hospital and remains in stable condition.
Investigators are attempting to determine what, if any, connection exists between today's shooting and any of the other recent shootings.
