The Harris County Sheriff’s Office Robbery Division is releasing surveillance video from an aggravated robbery of a mobile taco stand earlier this week where a 31 year old male was shot by one of two suspects.
Investigators responded to the Tacos Poncho’s located at 10303 Airline Drive on Tuesday, July 29, 2014, at around 9:45 pm. The taco stand manager, a workman repairing a deep fryer and a female employee were all in the trailer.
The two armed suspects entered the trailer and demanded money and wallets from them. One suspect struck the manager in the head with his pistol causing a laceration, and then shot the repairman in his arm, when he did not comply fast enough with their demands.
The victim’s gunshot wound was not life threating and was later released from the hospital.
The two suspects then fled the trailer running west on Memory Lane towards Interstate 45 North.
The two suspects are described black males in their early 20’s, both thin builds. They were wearing black t-shirts with blue jeans and black and white bandanas covering their faces.
