Traffic Stop for Speeding Nets Three Arrests

Warrick – Early this morning at approximately 12:15, Trooper Josh Greer was patrolling SR 66 near Libbert Road when he clocked a Chevrolet Lumina traveling westbound at 65 mph in a 50 mph zone. Trooper Greer stopped the vehicle on SR 66 near Epworth Road. During the traffic stop it was determined that two male passengers, Adonis Weathers, 23, and Shawn Kohlmeyer, 24, both from Evansville, were wanted on misdemeanor warrants out of Vanderburgh County for failure to appear. Troopers also arrested Chelsea Marksberry, 26, of Richland City, after she gave false information about her identity. Troopers were able to determine her true identity and discovered she was wanted on a felony warrant out of Vanderburgh County for forgery. All three passengers were arrested and taken to the Warrick County Jail. The driver and a fourth passenger were released.
