Indiana State Police Investigating Switzerland County Robbery (Arrest Made)

Switzerland County: Around noon yesterday a white male entered Fisk’s General Store located at 2794 Main St. in Patriot and purchased an item. When the store clerk opened the cash drawer after ringing up the price the suspect grabbed a handful of money from the cash register and ran out the door. The investigation continued throughout the day when troopers received information the suspect may be in the Cincinnati area. Last night troopers traveled to Cincinnati, Ohio and at approximately 10:45 p.m. troopers, with the assistance of Cincinnati Police and Hamilton County Sheriff’s deputies, arrested 30 year old Justin Gosciniak of Switzerland County, IN at the Rest Inn Motel on Central Parkway in Cincinnati. Gosciniak was taken into custody without incident and is now being held at the Hamilton County Justice Center in Cincinnati awaiting extradition back to Indiana to face charges related to yesterday’s robbery.

Persons arrested are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
