Full Notification

On 7/29/14, at 2:06 PM, Pomona Police received emergency 911 calls reporting a man seen with a gun in the 800 block of west Holt Ave. The subject reportedly left in a gray vehicle after shooting at a subject who was in a white vehicle. Pomona Police officers did not locate a vehicle or victim in the area. A short time later, Upland Police advised they located a victim of a shooting in Upland who was driven there after being shot in Pomona. The victim did not survive his injuries and was pronounced dead in Upland. The victim was identified as Jose Suazo, 36 year old Upland resident. Pomona Police Detectives responded to Upland where they took over the investigation and are actively investigating this crime.
