National Night Out, August 5th, 2014 
The Janesville Police Departments National Night will be on August 5th, 2014 from 5pm to 8pm in the area of the Police Department , 100 N Jackson Street.
Free food, kids games and giveaways, informational booths, live music by the Killer Cars and police demonstrations.
The 4th annual 5K Run Against Crime will start at 7pm.
Because of the large attendance expected some streets around the police department will be closed, however citizens will be able to get to the police department
