Bank Robbery - Encinitas

The Encinitas Sheriff's Station wants your help in identifying and locating a man wanted in connection with a bank robbery.

It happened just before 10:00 a.m. on Monday, July 28th at the California Bank and Trust located in the 100 block of Saxony Road.

Witnesses say the suspect walked into the bank with a semi-automatic hand gun and approached a teller. That's when the suspect told the teller, "give me the $100's and don't give me any tracking devices."

After being given the money, the suspect said, "that's not enough," and began walking to the back of the bank. When he saw bank employees in another room, the suspect stopped and left the bank. No one was hurt.
