Motor Vehicle Thefts East & West sides of Southern end of the Borough. 
North Arlington Police are currently investigating a spike in motor vehicle thefts during evening hours. The activity is predominately taking place on the east and west sides of the southern end of the Borough. Detective Bureau investigations reveals a total of 9 thefts, many of the cars were recovered in Essex and Passaic Counties. Most of the vehicles appeared to have been used for joy riding.
