Multiple Charges Filed in Greene County Homicide Case
Solsberry – Jason Lee Caldwell, 35 of Solsberry was formally charged Thursday evening with the Murder of David Lamm, 54, also of Solsberry.
Indiana State Police Detectives found evidence through their investigation that sometime after nightfall on Friday, July 18th, Jason Lee Caldwell was waiting in Lamm's driveway and allegedly shot Lamm upon his arrival home.
ISP Detectives also discovered evidence that Jason Lee Caldwell purportedly raped a female (name redacted) inside the residence of David Lamm after the murder had occurred.
Credit cards, weapons, prescription drugs and a 2008 Jeep Commander were taken from the residence as well.
Jason Lee Caldwell was formally charged with the following offenses;
1) Murder, Class A Felony
2) Robbery with a Deadly Weapon (2 Counts), Class B Felony
3) Burglary with a Deadly Weapon, Class B Felony
4) Rape with a Deadly Weapon, (2 Counts) Class A Felony
5) Criminal Confinement with a Deadly Weapon, Class B Felony
6) Auto Theft, Class D Felony
7) Theft, Class D Felony
If convicted, Caldwell could face over 200 years in prison.
Under the Law, criminal charges are merely accusations and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
