Smart & Final Theft: Suspects take Liquor from Store 
On Saturday, June 14, 2014 between 7:55-8:10 A.M., the suspect entered the SMART & FINAL, 2775 PCH, with a shopping cart containing a bag of PURINA dog food and a black FOOD4LESS reusable bag. The Suspect selected bottles of liquor, placed them in the FOOD4LESS reusable bag, proceeded to the checkout stand and attempted to return the dog food and a bottle of liquid detergent. The cashier recognized both the suspect and the female who accompanied him from three prior visits when the suspects had fraudulently returned merchandise. The suspect would use a receipt from a previous purchase, bring in one item on the receipt, shop at the store, place the remaining items on the receipt into the shopping cart, proceed to the cashier and return the items on the old receipt. As a result, a manager was called and when he attempted to verify when and where the merchandise had been purchased, the suspect fled the store with the FOOD4LESS reusable bag, southbound in the parking lot, leaving behind the dog food and liquid detergent without receiving a refund. Suspect-2 had entered the store shortly after Suspect-1 and was last seen leaving the store just prior to Suspect-1.
SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: Suspect-1 Black male adult, 6’00”, 290 pounds, wearing dark sunglasses, black shirt, gray camouflage shorts and tennis shoes.
Suspect-2 Black female adult, 5’4”, skinny build, short slicked back hair (down to ears), wearing a flower dress with a sweater.
SUSPECT VEHICLE: None seen or heard
