Below is the information regarding the road closures for the Camden County Municipal Utilities Authority sewer line project final milling and paving.

This project is being completed under their authority. Any questions regarding the road closures or the detour routes are to be directed to CCMUA at 856-541-3700 or visit www.ccmua.org for project information.

Starting Monday, July 28, 2014 at 7:00 am, Chews Landing & Clementon Road between Somerdale Road; Old Blackhorse Pike to Lower Landing Road will be closed to traffic.

The road will be closed to facilitate the restoration and paving of Chews Landing Road between Somerdale and Lower Landing Rd. Expect delays, travel cautiously, observe the road closure and directions by Traffic Control Officers. Use the detour alternate routes designated, if possible. The roadway will be reopened at night. No vehicles will be allowed through the intersection of Chews Landing Road and Somerdale Road.

The anticipated time for the lane closures and restrictions is approximately three (3) days. Schedules are subject to change due to inclement weather, security alerts and other circumstances beyond the Contractor’s control.

Businesses located on Chews LAndinG Road between Somerdale Road and the Black Horse Pike can be accessed from the Black Horse Pike. The Camden County dog park can be accessed from the Little Gloucester Road closure point.

Access to emergency vehicles will be maintained at all times.

The detour route for eastbound traffic is Black Horse Pike south to Coles Road to Hider Lane to Chews Landing Road.

Westbound traffic will be detoured Chews Landing Road to Hider Lane to Coles Road to Black Horse Pike North.

Loring Flemming and Glen Landing Schools can be accessed from Little Gloucester Road at Coles Road.

Northbound Old Black Horse Pike traffic will be detoured to the Black Horse Pike to E. Evesham Road.
