Howard County – Recently, a criminal investigation by Indiana State Police Detective Michelle Jumper resulted in the arrest of Richard Berg Jr, 41, 4705 Pavilion Court, Kokomo, IN. Berg faces three class B felony charges for sexual misconduct with a minor and class D felony charge for battery by bodily waste.
Jumper started an investigation after receiving information that Berg had allegedly performed sexual acts with a 15-year-old Miami County girl. The investigation revealed that from March 2014 until May of 2014, Berg had allegedly committed sexual acts with a 15-year-old Miami County girl. He was arrested by Howard County Sheriff’s deputies when they served Berg with a Howard Superior Court 4 arrest warrant. Berg was incarcerated in the Howard County Jail with $30,000 bond.
