Investigators with the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office are currently searching for three men wanted for questioning in connection with the theft of $1,373 worth of tools from a house under construction in Nebo.
One of the men has unrelated outstanding warrants in three counties and another is wanted in Mitchell on separate crimes.
Michael Lee Sexton, 30, of 119 Roberta St. in Marion, has outstanding warrants in Burke County for assault on a female and communicating threats; in McDowell County for assault on a government official or employee, resisting a public officer, carrying a concealed weapon and providing fictitious information to an officer; and in Mitchell County for obtaining property by false pretense, breaking and entering, larceny after breaking and entering, larceny of a firearm and possession of a firearm by a felon.
He is described as a white male who stands 5 feet, 8 inches tall and weighs about 155 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes.
Michael Joseph Comeau, 22, of 2726 N.C. 226 North, Lot 4 in Marion, is wanted in Mitchell County for breaking and entering, larceny after breaking and entering, larceny of a firearm and possession of a firearm by a felon.
He is described as a white male who stands 5 feet, 6 inches tall and weighs approximately 130 pounds. He has black hair and hazel eyes.
Jonathan Christopher Hubbard, 26, of 47 Clay Rock Drive in Nebo, is described as a white male who stands 5 feet, 8 inches tall and weighs about 150 pounds. He has brown hair and hazel eyes.
