Saugus, Zone 4 Update, Public Safety & Crime Prevention Information Snapshot: 07/14/2014 - 07/20/2014

Good afternoon Saugus.  The following Part 1 crimes were reported in Saugus over the past week:

 

There was an assault near the corner of Seco Canyon Road/Decoro Drive on July 15th.  The victim was assaulted when he exited his vehicle and contacted a man standing on the corner filming him.  Detectives are searching for the suspect

A second assault was reported in the 27300 block of Catala Avenue on July 15th.  The victim was assaulted by a relative during an argument.  The victim received treatment at a local hospital.  Deputies are searching for the suspect.

 

A vehicle was reported stolen in the 28900 block of Rock Canyon Drive between the late night of July 17th and early morning of July 18th.  The victim’s silver 04’ Nissan was taken from in front of the victim’s house overnight.

 

We had a theft from an unlocked vehicle reported in a local park located in the 28100 block of Bouquet Canyon Road on July 15th. The victim had miscellaneous items stolen out of his unlocked vehicle.
