On July 20th, 2014 reports were file from the Shenandoah Estates subdivision off Hwy 138 in Fayette County were 22 vehicles were unlawfully entered. Most owners reported that their vehicles were only rummaged through. However there were some electronics, clothing items and cash taken from some of the vehicles.
On July 23rd, 2014 reports were filed from the Newton Plantation subdivision that 12 vehicles were broken into and rummaged through.
Please remove your valuables from vehicles and lock them. Most of the reported incident had unlocked vehicles.
