Press Release: Drug Arrest

OFFICERS INVOLVED: Officer Kyle Kane and Dean Schoch
ACCUSED: Geneva Kelly age 50 Irvington, NJ
NARRATIVE:
On 7/23/14 at approximately 12:09 am, Officer Kyle Kane was on patrol when he observed a vehicle being operated by Geneva Kelly while speaking on her cell phone. Upon stopping Ms. Kelly for that violation it was discovered that the vehicle she was operating was unregistered. A further investigation revealed that Ms. Kelly was in possession of heroin and crack cocaine.
Ms. Kelly was charged with possession of heroin, possession of cocaine, possession of drugs in a motor vehicle as well as several motor vehicle violations. She was released on a complaint summons to appear at a future court hearing.
