The power is out in the northwest section of Kirkwood. Seems to be a boundary between Dougherty Ferry, N. Geyer Rd, North city limits, and west city limits. Electric Department is currently trying to determine the cause and get power reestablished to customers.
Callers on Woodgate reported hearing large boom sounds prior to electric going out and saw arching between a tree limb and a wire at 1020 Woodgate.
