Deadline Approaching: Host a National Night Out Block Party on Tuesday, August 5th!
Oakland, CA – Mayor Jean Quan, Interim City Henry Gardner and Police Chief Sean Whent urge Oakland residents to participant in National Night Out (NNO) on August 5, 2014. NNO is America’s block party night.
The City of Oakland, Oakland Police Department and Neighborhood Services Division announce that its time to register your block party for National Night Out.

Tuesday, August 5, 2014 7-9pm
Organize a block party, barbeque, ice cream social or other outdoor event that brings neighbors together.
Register early to receive give-away items for the kids and a special gift for the host. The registration deadline is Friday, July 25.
Last year the City of Oakland set a new record for National Night Out Block Parties with over 667 parties throughout the City; this year the goal is 675!
