On July 21, 2014 at approximately 12:53 Officers were dispatch to the 6330 block of S Bell on a Motorcycle vs. Motor vehicle collision. Upon their arrival they discovered a 2009 Hyundai 4 door had been exiting a private drive in the 6300 block of S Bell driving eastbound to turn northbound onto Bell St. A 2011 Kawasaki motorcycle was driving southbound on Bell St. The motorcycle struck the car. The driver of the Kawasaki, Christopher Caleb Bell, WM, 18 of Amarillo died at the scene as a result of injuries received in the collision. The driver of the Hyundai, Brayden Lynn Green, WM, 21 of Amarillo was uninjured in the crash. The incident is being investigated by the Traffic Investigation Squad of the Amarillo Police Dept.
