The Sheriff's Homicide Detail wants your help in locating persons of interest in a murder case in the East County.
On the night of June 25th, deputies were called out to an apartment complex in the 1400 block of Graves Avenue in an unincorporated area of El Cajon. When deputies arrived, they found a man who had been shot. He died from his injuries. The victim has been identified as Kevin McCalla.
Investigators are looking for two persons of interest wanted for questioning in connection with McCalla's murder.
The first person of interest is 49-year old Latima Dover, who also goes by the nickname, "Latty." Take a good look at his photo. Dover stands 6'1" and weighs 150 pounds. He has short hair. Dover is a Jamaican citizen and has a distinct Jamaican accent.
The other person of interest is a Jamaican man who goes by the nickname of "Slung." He is around 50-years old with black dreadlocks and a distinct Jamaican accent.
If you see either man, DO NOT APPROACH THEM. Both men may be ARMED AND DANGEROUS. If you see them or have any information on their whereabouts, call the Sheriff's Homicide Detail at (858) 974-2321.
