At 2:39 pm, the New Jersey State Police Dive Team recovered the body of the missing swimmer at Cooks Pond. The victim was discovered approximately 30 yards from the shoreline just outside the swim lanes. Our condolences go out to his family and friends.

The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Denville Police Department at 973-627-4900 ext. 9.
