The Rutgers Police Department offers challenging and exciting opportunities in a wide range of law enforcement careers. The RUPD is currently in the process of recruiting qualified individuals to apply for the position of POLICE OFFICER within the New Brunswick division of the department.
The RUPD is not a Civil Service agency and the Officers participate in the Police and Fire Retirement System with state benefits. The Rutgers Police Department is one of only a dozen law enforcement agencies within the state to have achieved advanced law enforcement accreditation through the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA).
