ISP Lab Employee Honored for Twenty Years of Service
Pendleton – A civilian employee at the Pendleton Post was recently honored for achieving twenty years of service with the Indiana State Police. Nancy Garringer, Lab Division Evidence Clerk assigned to the Pendleton District, was recently awarded a framed certificate signed by Indiana State Police Superintendent Douglas Carter recognizing her for twenty years of dedicated service to the Indiana State Police.
Garringer began her career with the Indiana State Police in 1994 as a part time clerk typist at the Redkey Post. In 1997 she went to full time as a Data Input Operator at Redkey. In 1998, she became the Redkey Post Secretary. When the Redkey Post was closed in 2010, she transferred to the Fort Wayne Post as a secretary.
Garringer served at the Fort Wayne District as a secretary until 2012 when she was promoted to the Lab Division to serve as the Evidence Clerk assigned to the Pendleton District. Garringer and her family reside in Jay County.
