One Injured in Johnson County Crash
Johnson Co., - One person was transported by Lifeline air ambulance this morning after being involved in a two vehicle crash in Johnson County.
This morning at 7:23 a.m., Indiana State Troopers responded to a two vehicle personal injury crash on SR 252 at I-65 that sent one of the drivers to the hospital.
Preliminary investigation revealed that Alicia Littlejohn, 30, of Franklin, IN was operating a 2003 Nissan EB on SR 252, turning onto the NB ramp to I-65. John Bense, 30, of Hope, IN was operating a 2004 Kenworth dump truck WB on SR 252 at I-65. Littlejohn turned the Nissan into the path of the dump truck and was struck in the passenger side door.
Littlejohn was transported to Methodist Hospital with possible internal injuries. She was reported to be alert and talking at the scene. Bense was not injured. No citations were issued.
