Suspect arrested for the June 17th murder of Josue Crook in National City. 
On June 17, 2014, Josue Crook was shot and killed in the 300 block of Highland Avenue in National City. During the ensuing homicide investigation, NCPD Detectives identified Daniel Arce Gonzalez as a suspect. This information was relayed to allied agencies on both sides of the international border. On July 14, 2014, NCPD Detectives were notified that Gonzalez was located and arrested by the Tijuana Municipal Police Department. Gonzalez was turned over to NCPD Detectives and booked into County Jail for homicide.
Because the investigation continues, and there may still be additional outstanding suspects, the National City Police Department is not releasing any other details at this time.
