Search of home leads authorities to two suspects (James Lionel Ferguson and Tammy Wilson Bryan), drugs, gun

Detective Curtis Stuteville of the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office charged James Lionel Ferguson, 39, of Old Highway 10 East in Marion, with felony possession of methamphetamine, felony possession with intent to sell and deliver methamphetamine, felony maintaining a dwelling to keep a controlled substance, felony possession of a firearm by a felon, misdemeanor possession of up to ½ ounce marijuana and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.
Stuteville also charged Tammy Lynn Wilson Bryan, 47, of Knubs Knob Drive in Marion, with felony possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.
Friday morning, July 11, officers will the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office, Marion Police Department, N.C. State Bureau of Investigation and U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration searched Ferguson’s residence as part of a month-long investigation.
Stuteville said they seized one-half gram of methamphetamine, 2 grams of marijuana and a rifle.
