Good morning,
This morning, the North Brunswick Police Department became aware of an email scam attempt titled either "TASK-2014!!" or "Wal*mart". The email is sent from "Wal*mart", and offers unsuspecting recipients the chance to become surveyors for the Company. The emails states that if you visit a Wal-Mart store for twenty minutes and then complete an on-line survey, you will be paid $200 for each visit. It then asks for some basic personal information to register for this opportunity.
We have confirmed with Wal-Mart that this is a scam attempt to obtain personal information. **DO NOT PARTICIPATE IN THIS OFFER, and as always, never provide any personal information in any such email offers. Thank you.
