On Sunday, 7-13-14-2014, at approximately 6:00p.m., the Sausalito Police Department responded to a Cloudview Road address in regard to a residential burglary that occurred sometime during the afternoon hours. A window was smashed to gain entry to the residence. Jewelry, a laptop computer and bottles of alcohol were taken.

In this case the residential alarm system and the telephone line were both disabled by the suspect prior to entry being made into the residence. The alarm company did not get an activation and the police department was not notified to respond. The Sausalito Police Department recommends that residents and business owners check with their alarm and/or phone providers to ensure that they are secure from tampering.
