LOCATION: 4000 block of North E Street, Unincorporated area of San Bernardino
VICTIM: Tomanisha Marie Nichols, age 19 of San Bernardino
SUSPECT: Darin Couzens, age 25 of San Bernardino

Through investigation, investigators have identified a suspect, Darin Couzens, believed to be involved in the shooting death of the victim, Tomanisha Marie Nichols. Darin Couzens was subsequently arrested, transported and booked into the West Valley Detention Center.

On Sunday, July 13, 2014 at 12:48 a.m. deputies from Central Station responded to a report of shots fired in the 4000 block of North E Street. Deputies arrived and discovered a female dead from an apparent gunshot wound.
Sheriff’s Homicide Investigators responded and are conducting an investigation.
Investigators determined that a party was taking place in the area when the shooting occurred and a large number of individuals are being interviewed. No suspects have been identified at this time.
