National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Watch effective for Somerset County until Tuesday 7/15 evening.
Showers and thunderstorms are expected to bring locally heavy rain this afternoon into evening and again on Tuesday into Tuesday night. Rainfall amounts 1-3 inches or more may fall in a brief period of time resulting in flash flooding. Flooding along streams and creeks, on roadways and areas of poor drainage is possible. Everyone is advised to monitor forecasts and local conditions.
