Victim of suicide identified by Pomona Police Dept. 
The Hispanic Female, who laid down on the railroad tracks and was struck by a train yesterday has been identified. The Coroner's office identified her as Maria Galvan, 35, yrs old, resident of Pomona.
Police investigators indicated the victim attempted suicide the previous day, but was pulled from the tracks by an unidentified boyfriend. The police indicated the couple were having relationship problems and a note was left with the boyfriend on the day of the incident. The contents of the note were not disclosed.
Notification was made to the family by the Los Angeles County Coroners office.
