Vigo County—This morning at 10:15, Indiana State Police Meth Suppression troopers and Vigo County Drug Task Force officers arrived at 2200 4th Avenue (Apartment 3) in Terre Haute, to investigate community tips and other investigative information related to possible methamphetamine production. During their investigation, an active “one pot” meth lab, evidence of previous labs, and numerous other items associated with the production and use of methamphetamine were all found.
Arrested: Shawn M. Ash, age 26, of 2200 4th Ave. Apt #3, Terre Haute, IN.
Charges: Manufacturing Methamphetamine, felony
Possession of Precursors, felony
Maintaining a Common Nuisance
False Informing
Also, wanted on Terre Haute City Court for a previous False Informing charge
Arrested: Carla R. Bealmear, age 35, same address
Charges: Same, except for warrant
Investigating officers were ISP Troopers Adam Edwards and B.J. Patterson, along with Vigo County DTF officers Jim Palmer and Ryan Hartleroad.
