Mental Health Evaluation
Officers responded to the Walmart store on Albrae St. on the report of a woman who crashed her vehicle into a car in the parking lot after being in a heated argument with a male subject. The woman refused to stop and made comments referencing wanting to hurt or harm herself. With the help of dispatch, Officers Zargham, Huiskens and Stinson worked on locating a possible destination for the woman. The woman’s vehicle was eventually located near a hair salon in Newark, and Officer Stinson located the woman walking near the intersection of Thornton and Mulberry. She was ultimately transported for a mental health evaluation.
#043 Suspicious Circumstance
CSO Allen took a report of a suspicious circumstance where a resident on Cabral noticed a subject wearing a backpack enter the side yard of his neighbor’s house and make his way into the backyard. The neighbor called out to the subject, who then ran from the house. The neighbor got into his car, tracked down the subject and took a photo of him. CSO Allen documented the incident.
#044 Under the Influence/Warrant Arrest
Officer Nordseth conducted a pedestrian stop in the area of 5 Corners in Irvington and arrested a 36 year old adult male, Union City resident, for being under the influence as well as for having an outstanding drug related warrant.
#045 Reckless Driving Citation
Officers Olivera and Torrico stop a vehicle and cite a 33 year old adult male, Fremont resident, for reckless driving.
#047 Suspended Driver’s License Arrest
Officer Zargham cited a 24 year old adult male, San Jose resident, for driving on a suspended driver’s license.
#049 Suspended Driver’s License
Officer Nordseth cited a 23 year old adult female, Oakland resident, for driving on a suspended driver’s license.
