Mayor Laforet's reminder for Paddle Day and Senior Picnic 
Paddle Day will be held on Tuesday July 8th from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Continental Soldier's Lake Henry. Rain Date is July 15th. Canoes, kayaks, and life jackets will be provided by Ramsey Outdoor Store for use by Mahwah residents of all ages. Proof of residency required.
The 12th Annual Senior Picnic will he held at Continental Soldiier's Park on Wednesday July 9th starting at 12:00 p.m. This event is open to all senior Township residents. Please join us for good food and an enjoyable afternoon.
Both these events are sponsored by the Mahwah Recreation Committee.
There is a heat advisory forecast for the next several days with high temperatures and high humidity. Stay hydrated and avoid strenuous activities during the heat of the day if possible.
