Critical Missing Teenager in Pacoima Area

 

Los Angeles: Los Angeles Police Department Mission Area and the family of  Luis Alberto Ortiz seek the public’s assistance in locating their distraught 14 year-old son.

 

On Saturday,  July 5, 2014 around 12:45 p.m., Luis Alberto Ortiz had an argument with his family that escalated to a point where Luis stabbed himself in the hand with a knife.  Based on statements made by the missing juvenile it is believed that Luis may be suicidal due to a medical condition he is dealing with.

 

Luis is described as a male Hispanic with brown hair and brown eyes, he is 6 feet tall and weighs 200 pounds.  He is described as having a thin build and a light complexion.  He was last seen wearing a grey t-shirt, yellow shorts and grey shoes.  Luis is possibly riding a black BMX bicycle. Luis also has a scar on his stomach.

 

Luis was last seen riding his bicycle northbound on Bartee Avenue from Gain Street in Pacoima.  Luis resides in the 13700 block of Gain Street in Pacoima with his family.  Anyone with information about Luis’ whereabouts is asked to contact the Mission Area Police Station at
