Butts Canyon Road Is Open and Evacuation Orders are Lifted 
At approximately 6:45 PM on Thursday, July 3, 2014, the Lake County Office of Emergency Services (OES) and the Lake County Sheriff lifted the evacuation advisory for residents on Butts Canyon Road from the Lake County line to Langtry Estates, due to the wildfire burning at the Lake/Napa county line.
The fire has burned approximately 4,300 acres and is at 45% containment, and structures are no longer in danger.
Residents are able to return to their homes, but the area remains restricted to emergency personnel and residents. Butts Canyon Road north to Snell Valley Road is now open, and Butts Canyon Road and Guenoc Road two miles west of the Lake County line remain closed.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
