Enid Police Officers arrested Anthony David Jordan (29) Thursday morning at 4201 S. La Mesa #F5. Jordan is a sex offender and is registered at 2702 E. Wheat Capitol Rd. Enid Police Department received information that Jordan was actually living at the La Chateau Apartment complex located at 4201 S. La Mesa. Jordan was not registered with the Enid Police Department. This apartment complex is within a 2000 foot radius of La Mesa Park therefore sex offenders are prohibited from living there. Officers made contact with Jordan at this apartment Thursday morning and he was subsequently arrested for failure to register as a sex offender and living within a 2000 foot radius of a park. Jordan’s roommate confirmed that Jordan had been living there for about six months. La Chateau Apartment complex had no knowledge of a sex offender living there. Jordan was convicted of Lewd or Indecent Proposals/Acts to a Child in Enid, Oklahoma on August 14, 2008. Jordan is being held at the Garfield County Detention Facility without bond.
