OFFICERS INVESTIGATING SERIOUS WRONG WAY CRASH ON US-31 NEAR PONTALUNA ROAD. 
CORRECTION:
The Norton Shores Police Department is investigating a motor vehicle crash which occurred on US-31 south of Pontaluna Road on July 3, 2014 at approximately 8:40 am. Initial reports indicate that a vehicle, operated by a 73 year old Twin Lake woman, was traveling north in the southbound lane when it struck a vehicle driven by a 30 year old male. The male driver suffered serious head injuries. Charges have not been determined, as the circumstances surrounding the crash remain under investigation.
