On 07-02-2014 at 10:20 AM Janesville officers investigated a complaint of ongoing physical abuse to children at a residence located at 603 Lincoln St. in Janesville. Four children were removed from the home and placed into protective custody. A 12 year child that lives at the residence was treated at an area hospital for injuries.

As a result of the investigation both parents at the residence were arrested on felony child abuse violations and held for a court appearance at the Rock County Jail. The Janesville Police Department Detective Bureau assisted on the investigation.
