Full Notification

The Altus Police Department has requested OSBI investigate a police-involved shooting that occurred this morning at 215 East Live Oak. Agents are on the scene attempting to gather information and evidence. It is believed a male at that residence fired a weapon at police. An unknown number of officers returned fire possibly striking the man. Once the OSBI investigation is completed, the case agent will submit a written report to the district attorney’s office. The D.A. will determine if the shooting was justified.
