Why: The State of Indiana F.O.P. organizers would like to meet with the media to discuss the particulars related to covering the funeral of Tipton County Sheriff’s Deputy Jacob Calvin.
Note: Deputy Calvin’s viewing is scheduled for Sunday, July 6, 2014, from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., at Carroll High School, in Flora, IN. His funeral is scheduled for Monday, July 7, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. It is also at Carroll High School.
The family of Deputy Calvin appreciates the media covering Jacob’s tragic death, but would like for all media outlets to respect their privacy during this very sad time. At this time, they do not wish to speak publicly.
