Advisory

No Fireworks Allowed in Sierra Madre...Extra Officers on Fireworks Patrol.

The Sierra Madre Police Department offers these tips as you plan for the Fourth of July Holiday.

Fireworks of ANY TYPE are not allowed in Sierra Madre. Additional Officers, both plain clothes and in uniform will be patrolling the City for firework violations starting on Monday June 30th.

The City has a ZERO TOLLERANCE policy for all fireworks violations. Fines for possession and\or use of fireworks are from $250 to $1000. You can also be subject to arrest depending on the violation. If you purchase Safe and Sane Fireworks in another City, where it is legal to do so, please do not transport them through or bring them into the City of Sierra Madre.

Due to the extremely high fire dangers this year high viewing areas such as 1 Carter, Santa Anita Canyon Road, North Auburn by the reservoir, etc. will be closed to the public.

Plan to visit one of these many local venues to see spectacular firework shows in a safe environment:
