Bank Robbery - Imperial Beach

Detectives with the Imperial Beach Sheriff's Substation want your help in identifying and locating a suspect wanted in connection with a Chase Bank robbery.

It happened just after 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 25th at the Chase Bank in the 1100 block of Palm Avenue. The unknown suspect walked to a teller and handed her a note demanding cash. The suspect was given an undisclosed amount of money before walking out of the bank. No weapon was seen.

Surveillance photos from the bank robbery show the suspect was wearing a disguise.

Take a good look at these photos. Detectives say he was wearing a female disguise consisting of a shoulder length blond/orange wig with bangs and large dark rimmed sunglasses. The suspect was also wearing a dark colored long coat over a light colored blouse, long black skirt, white socks, and black sneakers. He was carrying a lime green purse with a shoulder strap.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic or Black man between 25 and 35 years old. He stands between 5'5" and 5'8" and has a thin to medium build.
