Two Arrested for Felony Charges After Traffic Stop
Selma – A traffic stop for left of center last evening led to the arrest of a Selma man for Possession of Methamphetamine and the arrest of another Selma man for outstanding felony warrants. Sergeant Jeff Zeiger stopped a 2000 Buick Regal in the 900 block of Butterfield Rd., in Muncie around 8:30 p.m. last evening. Further investigation led to the arrest of a passenger in that car for Possession of Methamphetamine, Class “D” Felony.
Arrested during the traffic stop was Justin Myers, age 23 of Selma. He was lodged in the Delaware County Jail. The ongoing investigation into that stop led to a search warrant being obtained and served by the Pendleton District Meth Suppression Unit. Around 2:30 A.M. this morning Meth Suppression Troopers served a search warrant at a residence located at 10217 E. Jackson St., Apartment 10, in Selma.
Arrested at that apartment was Dillon Hazelback, age 22. He was arrested for outstanding warrants out of Jay County for Aggravated Battery and Criminal Confinement, both felony charges. Hazelback was also lodged in the Delaware County Jail. The investigation is ongoing, and further charges could be filed.
