Five arrested for solicting a fictional 13 old female to have sex.

On Friday, June 20, detectives from the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office and Santa Rosa Police Department Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Units headed a Human Trafficking Operation, which was part of a nationwide Operation Cross Country. Operation Cross Country was headed by the FBI. There has been an increase in the solicitation for the purchase of prostitution services in Sonoma County. The information is based on the increase of advertisements on prostitution related to the internet sites.

The operation conducted by Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office and Santa Rosa Police Department specifically targeted subjects who responded to advertisements requesting to have sex with a 13 year old girl. All of the subjects arrested contacted undercover detectives and requested sexual services. During the phone conversation with the undercover detectives, all of the subjects were told the girl was 13 years old. A total of five (5) subjects were arrested for soliciting a fictional 13 year old girl to have sex.

The following subjects were arrested and booked in the county jail: 1) Alberto Carreno-Hernandez, 32 years old, Petaluma 2) Nicholas Perry, 35 years old, Sebastopol 3) Mateo Strawbridge, 19 years old, Santa Rosa 4) Rodolfo Alvarez, 36 years old, Santa Rosa 5) David Kilonzo, 45 years old, Santa Rosa.

The goal of the operation was to address the growing problem of sex trafficking of children. The Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office and Santa Rosa Police Department are part of the Sonoma County Human Trafficking Task Force. The task force works to address prostitution and human trafficking in the county.
