This morning at around 2:45 am, we responded to a report of a shooting at 815 E. Walnut Street. Officers arrived and found a female with a gunshot wound to the chest. The female is expected to live and is now talking with investigators. The incident appears to be a robbery attempt. Investigators are processing the scene and conducting interviews. More information may be given out later today.
