NARRATIVE:

Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide detectives are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a male Hispanic adult that occurred at approximately 8:16 PM, Sunday, June 22, 2014, in the 6000 block of Whittier Boulevard, East Los Angeles.

Detectives have learned the victim and suspect were in the restaurant and engaged in some sort of argument when the suspect produced a gun and shot the victim. The suspect was seen leaving the location in a black sports utility vehicle.
