On June 10, 2014, the Los Banos Police Department and the Merced Multi-Agency Narcotics Task Force served two search warrants related to indoor marijuana growing operations in the City of Los Banos.
Officers discovered two sophisticated indoor marijuana growing operations; one at a residence in the 2200 block of Imperial Street and the other at a residence in the 1300 block of El Camino Way.
Police seized 802 marijuana plants and 170 grams of processed marijuana with an estimated street value of $2.4 million. A loaded firearm was also located within one of the residences.
No suspects were found at either location at the time the search warrants were served by law enforcement. No arrests have been made at this time and the investigation is on-going.
