Positive identified is made on one of two men found dead inside a home in the 35000 block of W. Basin Road in Mannford earlier this week. Ward Ray Bartlett, 60, was found dead inside his home Wednesday by Pawnee County Sheriff deputies when they were called to the house for a welfare check. Local law enforcement made the positive identification since they knew Bartlett. The medical examiner’s office will determine the identification of the other man found inside the home. Dental records may be used to accomplish this. The medical examiner will determine the cause and manner of death of both men. Sheriff Mike Waters requested OSBI agents help with the suspicious death investigation.
